The Challenge with Glass Surfaces

Glass is THE building material of our time. Modern skyscrapers, sunrooms, schools, and single-family homes—large glass surfaces enhance quality of life by letting in plenty of sunlight. What seems modern and inviting to us humans quickly becomes a death trap for our feathered friends. Birds either fail to recognize glass surfaces at all—because they can see right through them—or, due to the reflection of the surrounding landscape, do not perceive the pane as a solid barrier.

The Solution - Bird Friendly Film

Bird-protection films installed on glass surfaces can truly save lives. The repeating patterns make the glass surface visible to birds and allow them to perceive it as a barrier. They can be retrofitted, thereby eliminating the need for costly replacement of special glazing. In addition, design elements such as a company logo can be incorporated. The various patterns have been tested for their effectiveness.
