BRUXSAFOL becomes a member of the IBU

BRUXSAFOL is taking another significant step toward transparent environmental reporting: Effective immediately, we are a member of the Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU). This partnership opens up new opportunities for us to further strengthen our commitment to sustainable construction and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Why IBU?

The IBU is the ideal platform for pursuing our goal of raising awareness of the increasingly important topics of sustainable construction and EPDs. With over 90 window films whose environmental impact is transparently documented in EPDs, we are already a pioneer in the German-speaking market. Through our IBU membership, we expect not only to increase our visibility but also to strengthen our networking with other players in the construction industry who are equally committed to solutions that promote transparency in sustainable construction projects.

International Recognition and Harmonized EPDs

A particularly important aspect is the ability to recognize EPDs across national borders. For years, the IBU has been advocating for the harmonization of EPDs at the European and international levels and works closely with many European and non-European EPD program operators. As a member, we benefit from this international network, which allows us to offer our EPDs on global markets as well.
